Maybe you are on leave, wondering if your skills expired while you were changing diapers. Maybe you are back at work and drowning, watching AI reshape your industry between daycare pickups. Maybe you left, like I did, and want the next chapter to be yours. Wherever you are, this community was built for you.
Here is what I saw from the inside. I spent ten years in big tech, building data and ecosystem partnerships, and later angel investing in female founded companies. When I started advising startups and VCs in AI, the rooms were exciting and the technology was moving fast. But the people in those rooms almost never looked like the people whose lives it would change most. The moms were missing.
That mattered to me, because moms are not a niche audience for AI. They are its best users and its most underestimated builders. They run households like operations teams, manage careers in the margins, and adopt any tool that gives them back an hour. What they were missing was not ability. It was an on ramp built for their real lives.
So in March 2026 I started an Instagram account called @momsbuildai. Within three weeks, 500 moms had pulled up a chair. Within three months there was a resource library, a newsletter, a sold out event in New York, and a peer teaching program where moms teach each other the AI workflows they actually use.
Today Moms Build AI is a community of over 3,000 moms, a membership of builders who meet every month, and a table that keeps getting longer. Every guide and toolkit is free, because access should never be the barrier. The goal is bigger than tips and tools: I want moms shaping the AI infrastructure, products, and policies our kids will grow up with.
There is a seat here for you. Start with a free guide, subscribe to the newsletter, or apply to the membership. However you arrive, welcome to the table.
